Terms

These are the terms you agree to when you create your login. They cover what we do, what it costs, what we can't promise and how you leave.

1Who you agree with

These terms are an agreement between you and smatter.club.

You can write to us at hello@smatter.club or on our Discord server, linked at the bottom of this page.

2What smatter.club is

smatter.club is a selling bot for CSGORoll. It runs on your own Windows computer, with your own CSGORoll and Steam accounts. You watch and control all your accounts from one dashboard on our server.

The bot lists your items by the rules you set, sells them and handles the Steam trade for each sale. Your Steam login and your CSGORoll cookie stay on your computer. Our server never gets your Steam password, your authenticator's secret or your Steam session. Your bot never sends it your CSGORoll cookie.

3Your login

A login is for one person. Keep your password to yourself. Every login must use two-step login with an authenticator app, which you set up the first time you sign in.

In Settings, you can see everywhere you're signed in and sign out of any of them.

4Your accounts, and CSGORoll's and Steam's rules

Only connect accounts that are yours to use. The bot uses your logins and acts for you.

CSGORoll and Steam have their own rules. Under those rules, they can limit or close an account. We don't decide what they do, and we can't promise an account will never be limited or closed.

5What it costs and how you pay

We charge a fee on every sale an account makes on CSGORoll after you connect it. The fee is 0.35% of the sale price. It's 0.30% once your total worth reaches 25,000 coins, and 0.25% from 100,000 coins. If we've agreed a different rate with you, that rate applies instead. We never charge for sales made before you connected an account. If a sale is cancelled or reversed after we charged it, we credit the fee on your next statement.

Your total worth is the Total worth on your dashboard's Home page, across all your accounts. We check it every hour. Each sale keeps the rate that applied when it sold. These rates replace the 0.5% of an earlier version of these terms. Each one is lower, so they apply from the day they were published, without waiting thirty days.

Fees add up in coins. A statement converts them to dollars at the published coin value. It rounds down to the cent once, in your favour.

Each statement covers one calendar month, counted in UTC. It's issued on the 1st of the next month at 12:00 UTC. If the total is under $5.00, nothing is billed and the amount carries over to the next month. Until you've paid two statements, we issue a statement early once your unbilled fees reach $50.00.

A statement is due 7 days after it's issued. You pay it in crypto through our payment provider.

A new rate applies to sales from the moment it starts, never to earlier sales. A statement never changes once it's issued.

6If a statement isn't paid

We remind you on the 7th, 10th and 13th day after a statement is issued. From the 15th day, your accounts are restricted for as long as anything is still due. The bot then makes no new listings and doesn't change prices, and the dashboard shows only billing.

A restriction never stops a sale that's already in progress. You can still sign in, pay and download your data. A restriction only starts if you could have paid. It doesn't start while our payment provider is down, or while a payment of yours is on its way or held by the provider.

As soon as you pay what's due, the restriction ends by itself.

7The bot on your computer

Keeping your computer safe is up to you. The bot encrypts what it saves, so a copied file won't work on another computer. It can't stop someone who signs in to Windows as you.

The bot only accepts versions we've signed. On the Updates page, you choose whether a new version installs by itself or waits for your OK.

Our signature proves a version came from us. It doesn't prove the version has no mistakes.

8What we can't promise

  • That CSGORoll or Steam will never limit or close an account.
  • That the bot will never make a mistake. It's our program, and it runs with your logins.
  • That our server is always up. When it's down, your bot keeps selling by the last rules it got, and catches up when the server is back.
  • That your trading is hidden from us. Your trades, items, balances and which accounts are yours are on our server. A leak would show them, but none of your logins.

You use smatter.club at your own risk. We don't pay for any loss, whether it's a sale, an item, coins, an account or anything else. This applies whether the loss comes from a mistake by the bot, our server being down, a leak, or what CSGORoll or Steam do.

9Leaving

You can download your data at any time. Settings → Login & data gives you one file with everything of yours we hold.

You can delete your account there too. The deletion happens after seven days, and until then you can undo it with one click. You can't delete your account while one of your bots is connected, so stop it first. You also can't delete it while you owe anything. That means a statement you haven't paid, or $5.00 or more in fees not billed yet. For those fees, the page offers you the statement right away. You give up any credit you have left, and the page tells you how much first.

If you still owe something when the seven days are up, the deletion waits until it's paid.

The privacy page says what we keep after you leave, and for how long.

10When we stop or pause your access

Not paying leads to the restriction above. Nothing else does that automatically. We may also pause your access by hand, for example if we believe a payment is being held to avoid a bill.

You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account.

We may end it too if you use smatter.club to harm it or another customer, or if you connect accounts that aren't yours to use. We may also end it if we stop offering smatter.club. When we can, we write to you first. Anything owed up to then is still owed, and you can still download your data.

11When these terms change

When we change these terms, we write to you. The new version applies to everyone thirty days later. You don't have to agree again. You agreed once, when you created your login.

We keep the version you agreed to, and when you agreed, with your login. It's also in your export.
